What is WhirtWhirl.com?
WhirtWhirl is a website that gives you a second chance to meet that person you wanted to meet, but didn't have the courage. It allows you to post a story about your encounter. Hopefully, that person will read it and reply back.
How do I create a Post?
Click the Post button at the top of the home page. Fill out the fields in the form and hit submit. Your post will now be visible on WhirtWhirl.com
How do I edit or delete my Post?
After submitting a Post you will receive an email from WhirtWhirl.com. If you cannot find the email in your inbox try checking your spam box. Follow the link in the email to your Manage Post page. Within that page you can edit the contents of your post or delete your post.
How do I reply to a Post?
Click the reply button under the post which will drop down a reply form. After filling out and submitting the form your private message will be forwarded to the users email.
What does WhirtWhirl mean?
WhirtWhirl is a whistle. It's a spelling of the sound that someone whistles when they see a person they are attracted to.
Do I have to signup to make a post?
No. There is no signup required to make a post.
Is WhirtWhirl only for missed connections in Philadelphia?
For now, yes. We are looking to expand the site in other cities in the future.
How do I tag a word?
Simply add a "#" in front of the word you'd like to tag. (Example: #coffee) Click on any tag to see a list of all posts containing the same tag.
What additional features are you going to add?
We have many features we are looking to add in the near future. Google map integration and a cell phone version of the website are just a few of the features we are adding.
Is my personal information safe?
WhirtWhirl does not share your personal information with anyone. The information is only used to better understand the needs of our users.
